The data here covers equipment for the Israeli Defence Force. In its short history Israel has made use of much western (largely American) equipment, along with Soviet kit captured from its Arab opponents. Equipment has tended to be upgraded and adapted to meet evolving needs. Israel also has a successful arms indutry that has made some significant exports.
